It’s a thing we can afford to do.

That being said, it isn’t the job of the US to feed the world. I do think that if you have excess you should share what you have.

I feel like the ideal solution would be if NATO gave a percentage of GDP to help with stuff like this. I imagine there are multiple NATO based aid mechanisms. It seems to me like those things need more funding.

Imagine what would happen if we stopped spending so much on national defense.
